From Tree to Toy: The Remarkable Journey of a Natural Rubber Teether

The journey begins in sustainably managed rubber plantations in Southeast Asia. Between 2 and 4 a.m., when the trees are most hydrated and latex yield and purity peak, experienced tappers start their work. Using a specially designed triangular knife, they make a thin spiral cut in the bark at a precise 45-degree angle. This process, known as "tapping," does not harm the tree. The sap flows out slowly, similar to how a human wound heals, allowing a single tree to produce latex continuously for decades.

The collected latex is quickly transported to the factory. First, it undergoes filtration to remove tiny bark impurities. Then, food-grade coagulants are added to turn the flowing latex into solid gel blocks. These gel blocks are placed into molds and shaped under specific temperature and pressure into the familiar, 可爱 forms we know—small animals, cars, or bracelets.

The molded toys undergo repeated washing to remove any residual impurities and proteins. They are then air-dried in a well-ventilated environment or dried using low-temperature technology. This step ensures the final purity and durability of the toys.

We adhere to using food-safe pigments extracted from natural minerals and plants to color the toys. These colors are bright yet soft, and absolutely safe even if chewed repeatedly by babies. Each batch of pigments undergoes rigorous testing for heavy metals and harmful substances.

Before packaging, every toy must pass a "graduation exam": material strength testing, chemical safety screening (to ensure no harmful substances like BPA), and physical dimension checks.
