Natural Disposable Diaper
Tushies diapers are a more natural disposable diaper alternative. I have used Tushies in a pinch when I was traveling and didn't want to
bother with cloth. I found them to be quite absorbent, but I change my babies frequently.
Tushies use a natural cotton blend for their absorbency. They are free of perfumes and Polyacrylate Gels (those super absorbent gel "beads"
that regular disposable diapers leave behind).
Three other natural disposable diaper brands exist: Mother Nature Diapers, Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers and Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Diapers (these do use absorbent polymer (gel),
claiming it is harmless to baby). Another rew natural disposable diaper is Nature Babycare. These are chlorine
free and breathable with a natural corn based material against your baby's skin, not oil-based plastics. Nature BabyCare even makes a
compostable, biodegrable nappy bag made from corn for disposing of their diapers without plastic.
